You have 1 good training area for the long run and especially with the nova 6 crawlers being able to enhance Zombies to supersprinters + bo4 zombies not moving in a straight line. Maybe because Die Maschine has the same layout just with Nacht instead of Nuketown + more training areas? I dont know where this AO underrated or top 10 trend started but i really dont agree. If you hate this map, or have had your opinion made for you by others, I beg you to give it a shot. There’s duel wild ray guns, shotgun ray guns, explosive ray guns, regular ray guns, so much stuff to explore when it comes to the WW on this map.Īs a whole, alpha omega is a map with a great layout, theme, look, gameplay mechanics, WW’s and so much more. From there it can be enhanced, and given super variants. You obtain this by getting a hold of a Ray Gun MK2 frame, and getting the parts in order to build the ray gun. One of the major highlights of the map includes the wonder weapon. It’s a great starting quest for a game like BO4. The Easter egg is one which is short and gets to the point. A star attraction is a robot which when activated, will fight by your side, similar to shadows of evil. The map has plenty of side quests to dig into. The map features a variety of traps, ones used in the bunker with the goal of defending it from the undead. The map becomes vibrant and orange, a beautiful colour. Floodlights all around the map activate, and the bunker becomes along, with all that stands of the defences and lights of the bunker, flicker. The feel of the map totally changes when power is turned on. Cleaning the gas gives you access to pack a punch Though the whole map leaks with NOVA 6 after a leak occurred in the facility, so the whole map is covered in the stuff, alongside undead who are infected by said gas. It has fake gardens, bathrooms, lounge rooms, it’s just like a self contained house, which is an awesome theme. Underneath lies a hidden bunker prepared for a nuclear war. It features a variety of buildings, with beautiful grass, interiors and exteriors, gardens, and debris from the destroyed buildings and vehicles. Atmosphere, graphics, layout, theme, quests, upgrades, secrets, WW’s, and way more, it’s all amazing and I’m here to explain why! :)Īlpha omega is set in camp Edwards, a lone testing ground in the middle of a desert, surrounded by a sandstorm. Yeah you heard that right, I think alpha omega is a top tier map which deserves so much more love.
